Soup for Lunch

We went to Le Madeleine on Carrollton for lunch the other day in honor of our Paris trip that we have coming up in the next two weeks. It was good and we ate soup and bread and drank tea (me) and lemonade (Kerry).
Kerry's soup was made with tomatoes and basil. It was creamy and warm and it came in a cup that looked like it was from a Dr. Seuss book to me for some reason.
My soup was the soup of the day and it was made with potatoes. Then they threw some cheese and bacon on top for good measure. Mine came in the same cup and I think it's the most soup I've ever eaten in one sitting.
